Annie Broadley

I am a painter working mainly with pigments which I mix with linseed oil and turps to make oil paint; melted beeswax for encaustic or egg yolk for egg tempera. During COVID I discovered Dr Ph Martin's Hydrus Inks and I continue to use these in conjunction with monotypes and collage. I have recently completed my 2nd commission for a silk scarf design using this technique for the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. However most of my work is oil on canvas.
