I enjoy exploring the different techniques of handbuilding with clay, using coils, slabs and moulds to create my one off pieces. Using the 3D forms to experiment with negative and positive spaces, shapes changing from every angle. I play with slips, texture and glazes to create lightness and dark.

Starting with a simple idea, inspired by the beauty and complexity of nature, I watch as the forms grow, taking on a life of their own.
