James Craig Page

James Craig Page founder of the Church of Gloss international art collective is a self taught artist. His creative focus had been primarily on painting and photography since 1997, however In 2015 he found the art of stone balancing and became hooked on creating art in nature. This practice, known more widely as Land Art, became his new passion and in 2016 he created Europe's first ever stone balancing competition here in Dunbar. ELAF has now evolved into a week long Land Art festival . James can regularly be seen on the beaches of Dunbar creating balanced sculptures, and fire cairns in the sea. Creative inspiration in the colours, shapes and textures of nature find their way into his paintings and photography and his passion for colour hangs off every wall and surface at C.o.G HQ. Immerse yourself in the Reality of living art, you will not be disappointed by his lack of commitment. Mediocrity is not an option.
