Robyn Wade
My work explores mixed media floral and seascape painting through an expressive use of colour, texture, and movement. I am drawn to an abundant, energetic palette, using spontaneous mark-making and layered materials to create a sense of immediacy and vitality.
Rooted in my surrounding environment, my paintings of flowers and coastal landscapes are not literal representations but intuitive responses. Elements of memory and imagination merge with observation, allowing each piece to move between the real and the dreamlike.
Through this process, I aim to evoke a feeling of joy and uplift, inviting the viewer into a space where colour and gesture become a reflection of emotional experience.
