Sally Moore

Sally creates kiln formed fused glass art. She hand-cuts all the glass and layers up the various colours required before firing the piece in one of two kilns. Sally uses a variety of additional skills to make her work such as using dropout techniques to make bowls and vases and pressing glass in the kiln to create her unique jewellery. Sally also combines metalwork skills with her glass expertise to create pieces inspired by the natural world, including Birds and Animals. Sally’s product range includes jewellery; a range of decorative birds and animals; bowls; vases and larger pieces of art. All Sally’s work is handcrafted in her workshop in Pencaitland, East Lothian.
