Sarah Mcleary

I work in textiles and print, experimenting with mixed media and mixed techniques including markmaking, gelliplate, stamping, dyeing, and Lino print. I employ ‘traditional’ embellishment through embroidery, sashiko, layering, and pleating.

From my experiments I make functional bags and soft furnishings. I am inspired by my historic home on the High Street, the textures and colours of the sea and the town.
