Fiona Malcolm

Having graduated in 1971 in Printed Textiles and Embroidery, I taught in London and the Lothians from 1972 - 2008. I was one of the founder members of Embryo and am currently a member of EDGE and VAS. I cannot remember a time when I have not been inspired by colour and texture. I love to investigate themes through drawing in a variety of media and developing them onto fabric, felt and paper with dyes, batik and stitch. Adding or removing layers of colour and tone and creating textured surfaces.
