WORKSHOPS & CREATIVE OPPORTUNITIES

WOULD YOU LIKE TO HOST A WORKSHOP WITH US IN 2026?

If so, we’d love to hear from you! Whether your aim is to upskill professional artists or introduce young , creative minds to a new technique, please get in touch.

The Dunbar Art Route committee meets monthly and proposals are discussed at each meeting. Approvals for workshops are fed back as and when the decisions have been made. This can take some time as the committee is made up entirely of volunteers.

In your proposal, please include the following;

  • Who your workshop is for. For example, professional artists, children of a certain age, children with disadvantaged backgrounds, OAPs? The more specific you can be, the better!

  • How many participants you can host in your workshop

  • Duration of workshop

  • If tickets were to be sold for your workshop, what would be your recommended price per person?

  • What facilities you need for your workshop and suggestions for suitable locations. For example, do you need access to power or sinks? Will it take place outside on location?

  • Total cost, including materials and your time. We will align our payments with the Scottish Artists’ Union Recommended Rate of Pay. Please send a breakdown of costs if possible.

Please email your proposal along with any supporting imagery to dunbarartroute@gmail.com
