Margaret Struckmeier

A menagerie of imaginary creatures including birds, reptiles, insects and mammals. Created using a mixed media approach utilising mono printing along with coloured pens and pencils; the images are cut out, assembled and hand-stitched onto backgrounds. Inspiration comes mainly from my imagination but also heavily influenced by archaeological artefacts, tribal and rock art.
