Dunbar Art Route is returning in 2026, and we would love you to be involved.

To apply for Dunbar Art Route 2026, please complete the application form below. By submitting this form, applicants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined below.

Following the success of the 2025 event, we anticipate a high volume of applications this year.

Deadline for submissions is 5pm on 31st March 2026.

Applications will be assessed through two separate streams:

  • Artists and venues based within Dunbar

  • Artists based outwith Dunbar, considered alongside venue availability and programming requirements

By submitting this application, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Submission of an application does not guarantee participation. Places are limited to 60 artists and venues and applications are selected by a panel consisting of members of the organising committee and an independent creative professional. The panel’s decision is final.

  • Participating artists agree to have their work, images, and submitted information used for promotional materials including print, website, press, and social media.

  • Participants agree to be present, or ensure suitable representation, during the event on 16–18 October 2026 between the hours of 10am and 5pm.

  • A non-refundable participation fee of £75 per artist or £100 per business/venue is payable upon acceptance and within two weeks of the invoice being issued, unless otherwise agreed with the committee.

  • Participants are responsible for arranging their own public liability insurance and insurance for artwork and equipment. The committee may ask for proof of this prior to the event.

  • All submitted information must be accurate and proofread, as it may be used directly in promotional materials.

  • Uploaded images must be a minimum of 300dpi and at least 1MB in size.

  • Personal information will be used only for the administration and promotion of Dunbar Art Route.
